AND TWELVE. AND MORE. PROBABLY INCLUDES DAYS THIRTEEN AND FOURTEEN.

INSTALLED THE CABINET DRAWERS, CONNECTED THE EXHAUST HOOD, AND BROUGHT IN THE POTS AND PANS.

STAINED AND FINISHED A PANEL TO BOX IN THE FRIDGE, AND HUNG THE HIGH CABINET FOR FOOD STORAGE.

PUT IN CABINETS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE STOVE. INSTALLED, SANDED AND OILED THE BUTCHER-BLOCK COUNTERS.

ABOVE THE SINK, STARTED INSTALLING THE SERIES OF SHELVES TO HOLD DISHES AND JARS. THE GLUE-UP:

KITCHEN REMODEL - DAY NINE

AND TEN.

BUILT A NARROW CABINET FOR THE SPACE BETWEEN THE DISHWASHER AND WALL.

DISHWASHER ARRIVED, SHRINK-WRAPPED AND SHINY.

PUT IN THE BUTCHER-BLOCK COUNTER, CUT A HOLE FOR THE SINK, AND DROPPED IT IN.

INSTALLED THE SOAP DISPENSER, SPIGOT, FAUCET AND SPRAYER. LOOKS LIKE A ROW OF SMALL ABSTRACT SCULPTURES.

TURNED ON THE WATER AND LET IT FLOW.

KITCHEN REMODEL - DAY SEVEN

ASSEMBLED SIX CABINETS FROM PARTS AND PIECES.

THESE ARE FROM A LITTLE SWEDISH IMPORT SHOP THAT I DISCOVERED OUT BY THE AIRPORT. I'VE BEEN IMPRESSED BY THE QUALITY OF THE HARDWARE AND THE PRECISE FIT OF THE PIECES.

DAY EIGHT.
PICKED UP A TEN-FOOT LENGTH OF STAINLESS STEEL FOR THE BACKSPLASH. BURNED THRU THREE SAW BLADES CUTTING OUT THE HOLES FOR THE OUTLETS.

GLUED IT TO THE WALL. USED WOOD BATTENS TO HOLD IT PLACE WHILE THE GLUE DRIES.
