GARDEN SHED - DAY SEVEN

PUT UP THE BATTENS OVER THE SIDING AND INSTALLED A COUPLE OF WINDOWS.

USED OBSCURE GLASS, SO THE GARDEN TOOLS AREN'T VISIBLE FROM OUTSIDE. (THAT'S THE OPEN DOORWAY ON THE RIGHT.)

A VIEW OF THE FAR SIDE:

AND THE TROPHY SHOT:

WE'RE WAITING FOR THE DOOR TO BE DELIVERED, SO UNTIL THEN, THESE WILL HAVE TO SUFFICE AS THE 'FINAL PHOTOS.'

GARDEN SHED - DAY FIVE

AND SIX.

PUT UP THE ROOF JOISTS.

CUT NOTCHES IN THE JOISTS, SO THE PURLINS ARE IN THE SAME PLANE AS THE JOISTS, AND THE METAL ROOFING IS TIGHT.

READY FOR THE RAIN.

NAILED DOWN THE LAST OF THE PLYWOOD SIDING, AND WRAPPED IT UP.

GARDEN SHED - DAY ONE

AND DAY TWO AND THREE.
POURED THE CONCRETE SLAB, FRAMED THREE WALLS AND BROUGHT IN A STACK OF PLYWOOD..

THIS WILL BE AN 8 X 8 SHED FOR GARDEN TOOLS AND FIREWOOD. TO GET SOME LIGHT INSIDE THE MICRO-STRUCTURE, AND TO ADD VISUAL INTEREST TO THE WALLS, I'LL BE CUTTING IN A COUPLE OF TALL NARROW WINDOWS.

 FRAMED THE FOURTH WALL.

STARTED NAILING UP THE SIDING ON THE BACK WALLS...

...AND AROUND TO THE FRONT.

KITCHEN REMODEL - FINAL DAY

FINISHED INSTALLING THE SHELVES. WIRED A SERIES OF LEDs UNDERNEATH, WHICH PROVIDES GOOD LIGHT ON THE COUNTERS.

SINCE THEN, I'VE INSTALLED THE DRAWER PULLS, AND NOW WE'RE COOKING! WE'LL HAVE AN OPEN HOUSE LATER THIS MONTH, AND I'LL POST SOME FINAL PHOTOS.
